Growing up in Cleveland and knowing what Great Lakes Brewing means to not only the city but to the craft brewing community in general, meant that this project was destined to be a great one. I loved getting to know the staff at GLBC. They ended up being one of those clients that, despite whatever budget limitations there may have been, you go the extra mile for simply because you truly believe in their mission, their culture and what they mean to your identity. Also, their beer is fantastic.



Though the final creative deviated structurally from this original treatment (such is the nature of doc-style work) I think it’s always important to give a potential client a sense of the director’s vision for the piece.



A great moodboard should inspire the filmmakers too, not just the client. This one gave us ideas that definitely found their way into the final piece.
