Ohio State | Diz

Directing this project was quite an experience. In telling Diz’s story, I made a lifelong friend. We talked for hours on set and as I got to know him and hear his incredible story of perseverance and courage, I felt the weight of the responsibility of bringing his message to the screen. Diz’s gratitude for all the people at The James cancer center really comes through in this piece and even though it’s one I directed years ago, it’s still a favorite of mine.
